FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've put together some commonly asked questions so you can use Ausounds products like a pro. If you have questions you can't find the answer to, please use the support page.

Where do your products come from?

We are a US based company and we only source our materials from socially responsible businesses with ethical manufacturing practices.

Our branded products are manufactured in China and South Korea.

Are purchases tax deductible?

All of the purchase price of the item goes directly to funding the cost of the product and the shop overhead, therefore we're not able to provide a tax receipt for any of the purchases.

You can make a donation to the MusiCares, which may be tax deductible in the country where you donate from, by visiting grammys.com/musicares.

Will my order get to me without any issues?

We use USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx and DHL for deliveries inside the United States and abroad. All of our shipments leave the United States and will likely spend time in the customs for the country where the shipment arrives if you are ordering from outside of the United States. We cannot provide any customs clearance estimates, but in most cases, shipments may spend anywhere from one to three days in customs.

IMPORTANT: Any customs or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order.

Why don't you accept my currency?

Right now we're able to show dozens of global currencies to give you a sense of how our prices convert into other currencies. We're working to implement new payment systems that will allow us to accept not only different currencies, but also dozens of different regional payment systems. So while the content of your cart may currently be displayed in your local currency, the Ausounds store process all orders in USD at the most current exchange rate.

What about shipping and delivery?

Our fulfillment partner fulfills orders within 1 business day (Mon-Fri), a timeline which does not include Weekends or Holidays. Please remember that the delivery of your order is the responsibility of the shipping carrier (USPS, Fedex, DHL).

We've worked hard to ensure that the sizes we offer will work for many different shapes and sizes of customers from all over the world. We offer products that come in a range of shapes, including Unisex and Women's' styles in a full range of typical U.S. style sizes (small through 4XL).

Each product is different, so make sure to check the sizing guide in each page, as some products may be very fitted. As we introduce new products, we'll add even more information about product fits and sizes.

Can I run and/or workout with my headphones?

Yes. More specifically, we would recommend our wireless earphones and headphones for an active lifestyle. Our wireless headphones and earphones are sweat proof and sound great. Perfect for getting lost in your music and leaving it all on the field/gym.

What is the difference between passive noise cancellation and active noise cancellation (ANC)?

ANC stands for active noise cancellation. In simple language, this is achieved by actively sending out a signal that is the opposite wavelength of the noise around us. These clashing frequencies actually cancel each other out, thus canceling out the noise that you hear. Passive noise cancellation usually has only to do with the fit your headphones have and how much padding or seal can keep out unwanted noise. In a test between the two, ANC or Active Noise Cancelation is always a sure and safe bet if you are truly looking to eliminate outside noise.

Does using ANC use my battery more quickly?

Yes, since there is an ACTIVE signal being produced, this will use your battery life a bit more quickly than if it were switched to the off position.

I can hear a crackling noise in my music

Make sure that you aren’t clipping in any part of your signal. If so, try listening at a lower volume. Check the file using other sources to make sure the artifacts you hear aren’t isolated to the file.

Does an incorrect ear tip fit effect sound quality?

Absolutely. It is paramount to have a good seal between the headphone/earbud speaker and your ear to provide the optimal and intended sound. Outside noise and other factors can also directly affect the quality.

I lost an earbud silicone ear tip, what now?
